CHAMBRE MONEGASQUE DE LA MODE
The Chambre Monegasque de la Mode (CMM), the Fashion Council of the Principality of Monaco, was founded in 2009 by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, who presides it. The CMM’s mission is to position the Principality of Monaco as a professional platform and an important player in the fashion world, and counts with the support of the Government, the City Hall and the Tourism Office of Monaco.
The CMM has a double purpose revealed by the essential goals achieved during its first decade. On one side, CMM represents and spreads the values of local fashion designers, while promoting the Made-in-Monaco creativity on an international level, and on the other, it projects the Principality as a key to fashion worldwide.
The CMM organizes since 2013 the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW), the official fashion event of the Principality with a lavish calendar that provides a succession of fashion shows and presentations. The MCFW has become an international rendezvous for designers coming from all over the world.
The 2023 edition will mark the 10 years anniversary of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, a very significant milestone, and it embraces a new decade increasing its commitment to sustainable fashion.
