For it's 8th edition, the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is proud to announce the exceptional participation of the designer Ermanno Scervino, who will bring his iconic style to the Monegasque catwalk by unveiling his Resort Collection SS2021 with an exclusive fashion show on Thursday, May 14th at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
The presence of the Italian designer increases the allure to Monte-Carlo's annual rendrez-vous dedicated to fashion. With a rich program of fashion shows, events and a special focus on environmental issues, the MCFW© has emerged as one of the significant events in the fashion world's calendar.
The Fashion Week, that will run from May 14th to 18th 2020, under the High Patronage of H.S.H Princess Charlène of Monaco, and created by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the Chambre Monegasque de la Mode - confirms it's importance as a prime showcase and stage, chosen by international designers to present the preview of their new collections.
The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2020 will once again bring the spotlight of the fashion universe to the Principality by attracting a large number of participants and professionals, with a particular attention to Ethical and Sustainable fashion, one of CMM's fundamental goals. The aim is to raise public awareness regarding the importance of protecting our planet, following the guidelines and values of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Firmly believing in social responsibility, MCFW© will support the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation (www.fondationprincessecharlene.mc), for the fourth year in a row. The primary objective of the Foundation is to help save lives through an educational programme on the risks of drowning. Its mission is to take preventive measures by raising public awareness of the danger of water and by teaching children how to swim. Sport is also a tool that contributes to the development and well-being of children. It is especially important for H.S.H Princess Charlène of Monaco because of her background as a former olympic swimmer.
